Create a budget

A project budget includes a detailed estimate of all costs that are likely to be incurred before the project is completed.

In VOGSY you create a budget for each deliverable in a project. The status of each deliverable budget displays as a gauge on the deliverable card.

To create a budget, do the following:

  1. Click briefcase Projects. The Projects view displays.

  2. Scroll to the project that holds the deliverable to which you want to add the budget.

  3. Find the deliverable and click account details Allocate budget & resources. The Calculation window displays. This screen displays a list of activities on one tab and a list of costs on another tab.

    • If you want to add an activity to the budget, click Add Activity and complete the form that displays. See Add an activity to your budget for more information.

    • If you want to add a cost to the budget, click the Costs tab and then click Add Cost and complete the form that displays. See Add a cost to your budget for more information.

  4. Add as many activities and costs as necessary.

  5. Close the Calculation form.
