VOGSY and data synchronization

VOGSY supports data synchronization with the following CRMs:

  • Salesforce

  • Copper

  • Hubspot

If your sales team uses one of these CRMs to create opportunities, the sales team can continue to do so. Synchronization between the two platforms is seamless. When importing new data from the CRM into VOGSY, VOGSY creates all necessary opportunities, organizations, and contacts as required.

The following conditions must be met in order to successfully sync an opportunity from the CRM with VOGSY:

  • The email address of the owner of the opportunity can be matched to an active employee in VOGSY.

  • The opportunity has a name.

  • The current stage of the opportunity is mapped in VOGSY and ‘Synchronize opportunities in this stage’ is selected. See “” for more information.

  • The opportunity should have a revenue value.

  • The opportunity should have a close date.

  • The opportunity should have a creation date.

  • The opportunity should have a contact that has a first and last name and an email address.

Synchronization frequency

VOGSY supports two-way synchronization.

VOGSY-to-CRM syncs

The VOGSY-to-CRM data synchronization is instantaneous. As soon as you make a change, in VOGSY, to an opportunity that is linked in the CRM, VOGSY pushes the new data to the CRM.

CRM-to-VOGSY syncs

VOGSY periodically checks the CRM for data changes. You can configure this rate of polling. See “” for more information.

How to turn off data synchronization

  1. Open the the back office.

  2. Scroll down the page to the Third Party Integrations section and click the settings link for your CRM; for instance, Copper settings.

  3. Click Disconnect.

Integrate VOGSY and your CRM

In order to synchronize data between VOGSY and your CRM, you must first integrate them. Integration with VOGSY requires two steps:
