Journals are used for processing financial transactions. Each financial transaction is related to a journal. Financial transactions can be created manually (Account Statements function) or automatically (for example when approving time entries or draft invoices).
For these automated bookings, VOGSY needs to know which journals should be used. These journals can be configured in Accounting settings.
VOGSY offers a default set of journals which is ready to use. Also, these journals are pre-configured in Accounting settings.
This step links to function Journals where you can review the default set of journals. Of course, it’s possible to create or change these journals so they match your organization. If you prefer to use the default set of journals, you can mark this step as complete.
