Opportunity types

You can categorize your opportunities by assigning an opportunity type.

In this function, you can configure opportunity types.

Opportunity types are used for filtering the sales funnel and the search results when you’re searching opportunities.

There are two attributes:

Name: Shows in dropdowns where you can select an opportunity type. For example in the edit form of an opportunity, when assigning an opportunity type or in the filter of the sales funnel.
Description: This field allows you to specify the definition of the opportunity type. The description is not shown in the front office.

You can change the order in dropdowns with the two arrows in the left panel of the screen.

Opportunity types are optional. If you don’t want to use them, you can archive them. When there are no active opportunity types, the filters and dropdown in the edit form of opportunities will be hidden.
