Create a task
There are several ways to create tasks:
From the Tasks view
There are two ways to create a task from the Tasks view.
Method 1

Click [ Tasks ] in the side panel to open the Task view.

Click New task. The New task form will appear.

Fill out the form and click Save. See Field descriptions for more information.
Method 2
The advantage of this method is that if you are in the By status view, you can create a task with the status set automatically.

Click [ Tasks ] in the side panel to open the Task view.

Click on the appropriate column. The New task form will appear with the Status field already set to the column whose was clicked. For instance, if you are using the default statuses, and you want the ticket to have a status of Doing, click the on the second column.

From a VOGSY object
You can create a task from an organization, opportunity, or project.

Open the organization, opportunity, or project from which you want to create the task.

Click the object’s Tasks tab to display its list of tasks, if any.

Click on the appropriate column. The New task form will appear with the Status field already set to the column whose was clicked. For instance, if you are using the default statuses, and you want the ticket to have a status of Doing, click the on the second column.

From a notification on your feed
Perhaps you received a notification on your Home feed that you want to follow up on later. You can create a task for it.

Click the notification’s button and select [ Create Task ] from the pop-up menu.
The Task view will open and display the New task form.
