The Revenue actual and forecast report
This report shows the revenue over previous, current, and future months for each active project. This report provides valuable insights into the history of a project’s contributions to your company’s overall revenue.
When refreshing the data, you can choose whether to:

Show weighted revenue forecast, which means the opportunity’s sales probability is taken into account when calculating revenue.

Show unweighted revenue forecast, which means all opportunities in the pipeline are treated equally when calculating revenue.
Column descriptions
- Customer

The name of the company that is responsible for the project whose revenue is being reported.
- Project number

ID number of the project whose revenue is being reported.
- Project

The name of the project whose revenue is being reported.
- Project status

The status of the project whose revenue is being reported.
- Company/Department

The name of the department or company that is responsible for the transaction.
- Revenue type

The category of revenue being tracked.
- Project manager(s)

The manager(s) assigned to the project whose revenue is being reported.
- Total actual revenue

The amount of actual revenue for the project so far.
- Actual revenue Month Year

The amount of revenue that has been invoiced for the Month and Year indicated. VOGSY uses the financial transactions posted to the designated revenue ledger accounts to calculate these values. See Designate a ledger account as a source of actual revenue.
- Revenue forecast Month Year

The amount of planned and unplanned order book revenue that is been calculated for the Month and Year indicated. See Revenue forecast, row 6, for more information about how Planned order book and Unplanned order book revenue is calculated.
- Sales probability

The chance, as a percentage, of winning the opportunity. This helps you judge the likelihood that the associated revenue will be realized.
