The Planned vs Actual report
This report displays the hours planned and submitted per week, per employee, and per activity, as well as the difference between the planned hours and actual hours. Use this report to make sure your employees are being used efficiently.
The data can be generated per year whereby you can choose all weeks or a specific week, all activities or a specific activity, and all employees or a specific employee.
Column descriptions
- Employee

The name of the employee whose data is displayed.
- Department employee

The department to which the employee belongs
- Customer

The customer for whom the employee’s work was performed.
- Project number

The number assigned to the project when it was created.
- Project

The name of the project for whom the employee’s work was performed.
- Project managers

The manager(s) of the project for whom the employee’s work was performed.
- Department project

The department to which the project belongs.
- Deliverable

The name of the deliverable that describes the expected results of the employee’s work.
- Invoicing method

Type of invoice to be submitted to the customer.
- Activity

Type of activity that describes the work required to complete the deliverable.
- Year

The year in which the work was performed.
- Week

The week in which the work was performed.
- Date

The date on which the work was performed.
- Hours planned

The number of hours designated to complete the work.
- Hours timesheets

The actual number of hours used to complete the work.
- Difference

The difference between the planned hours and the actual hours submitted via timesheet. The closer to zero this number is, the better.
