Accounts receivable

VOGSY generates an accounts receivable record after it generates a customer invoice. There are, however, times when you might want to create an accounts receivable record manually. This might be the case when there is a dispute about the invoice, or if you are just starting with VOGSY and want to add some AR records for customer invoices that pre-exist VOGSY.

To create an accounts receivable record, do the following:

To access back office applications you must have the Support staff role.
  1. Open the Accounts receivable application and click Add. The Account receivable form will open.

  2. Fill out the form. See Field descriptions for more information.

  3. Click Save.

Field descriptions

Debtor

The name of the customer for whom the invoice was generated.

Invoice number

The VOGSY-generated ID number of the invoice.

Invoice date

The date that the invoice was generated.

Payment condition

The payment terms for the invoice.

The name of the department in your company that is responsible for the invoice.

Accounting year

The year that the customer invoice was generated.
